SummerBoard Allows iPhone Home Screen Scrolling

iPhone hacker "lg" has developed a way to place as many icons as you desire in your iPhone's home screen by hacking customizations into SpringBoard, the iPhone menu system. This modification, known as SummerBoard, extends SpringBoard by making use of custom routines loaded through a back door, allowing scrolling of the icon list and the use of custom wallpaper behind said icons.
Installation of SummerBoard can be achieved by way of Installer.app.
While some users report having to perform multiple iPhone reboots to get things up and running, most have experienced no real issues, it seems. A clever bit of work from an able iPhone hacker.

Creative Japan has rolled out the Travelsound i50, a rather handy and stylish portable speaker system for the second-generation iPod shuffle.
The single-piece unit is wrought of brushed metal, matching the styling of the shuffle, and is designed to allow the shuffle to dock directly into on end of it. A clear, snap-on cover is provided to sheath the docked nano, lending protection to the unit. The mated assembly can be hung from a belt loop or backpack with the supplied carabiner.
The Travelsound i50 features a rechargeable battery than can be recharged via standard USB hookup. The unit is currently selling in Japan for the equivalent of about $69 USD and no information is currently available regarding the release of the i50 outside of Japan.

New in this version: - Improved iPhone Support.
- Shared registration between user accounts.
iPod Access is a Univeral Binary application, able to run natively on both PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs.
